This workshop largely reviews what was presented at the February KYR workshop with some updates regarding airport KYR and some policy changes. It will be lighter on the law theory/letter and more about implementation.
The workshop is hosted by the Verbum Dei Missionary Fraternity in San Francisco.
Voices of Saint Agnes
Storytelling as a Spiritual Practice, with Dana Sherry

Something about stories brings us closer to one another, and they can also bring us closer to the sacred. In this Voices of St Agnes gathering, we explore the ancient art of oral storytelling, where the storyteller and listeners alike are transported into another world woven into being by voice, body, narrative, and the Spirit.
Dana Sherry, coordinator for the ISLC and also a professional storyteller, will share three of her favorite stories of the saints, and to reflect together on how connecting with their lives can help us to see God in our own experiences.
On a personal note, I am delighted to share what has been one of my great joys and sources of spiritual inspiration over the last 15 years. If you have experienced live storytelling, you know what I'm talking about - and if you haven't, this is a chance to find out! Peace, Dana
Pilgrimage of Hope for Creation (from St Ignatius to the National Shrine of St Francis)

Meet us at St Ignatius for the full pilgrimage, or join anywhere along the way!
Join the Pilgrimage and Mass for 10th Anniversary of Pope Francis' Encyclical Laudato Si' to proclaim who we are in action and prayer for the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor. Come help us celebrate a Mass for 10th Anniversary of Pope Francis' Encyclical Laudato Si' on the care for our common home. Mass will be at the San Francisco National Shrine of Saint Francis Assisi, 610 Vallejo Street, San Francisco on Saturday, May 10, at 12:15 pm. Walk to Mass in a Pilgrimage of Hope for Creation starting at St. Ignatius Church at 9:00 am (and join anywhere along the way). This is sponsored by the National Shrine of St. Francis of Assisi & The California Chapter of the Laudato Si’ Movement. Learn more and sign up!

Mothers' Day and Birthday Celebrations!

Dear Parish Family, You are warmly invited to a special celebration at St. Agnes Church on Saturday, May 11, as we gather to honor the incredible mothers in our community—and celebrate two wonderful birthdays: Fr. Alejandro’s and Frank Uranich’s! Mother’s Day Celebration Birthday Blessings for Fr. Alej & Frank.
This day will be filled with gratitude, joy, and prayer as we recognize the gift of motherhood and give thanks for Fr. Alej and Frank’s joyful presence in our parish. Following Mass, we will gather for light refreshments and fellowship as a way to personally thank Fr. Alej and celebrate all those being honored. If you’d like to bring a food item, we kindly ask that you avoid dishes with too many liquids or those that require heating. Finger foods or simple, ready-to-serve items are greatly appreciated.
