Dear Parish Community,
Peace and blessings to each of you.
I am happy to share with you the news that the Archdiocese of San Francisco has just released the official clergy assignments for the upcoming pastoral year.
We joyfully welcome Rev. Samuel Musiimenta, who has been appointed as the new Parish Administrator of St. Agnes Church, effective July 1, 2025.
Let us give thanks to God for this blessing and pray for Fr. Samuel as he prepares for this new chapter of ministry among us. What a grace it is to know that St. Agnes will continue to be shepherded with full-time pastoral leadership.
More details will be shared in the coming days, but for now, please join me in extending our heartfelt congratulations and warmest welcome to Fr. Samuel. May his transition be smooth and spirit-filled, and may this next chapter in our parish journey be one of continued growth, faith, and community.
We also lift up in prayer the many other parishes in our Archdiocese experiencing new beginnings:
New Pastors Assigned To: St. Gabriel, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Patrick, St. Finn Barr, All Souls, St. Augustine, St. Benedict, and St. Emydius.
New Parish Administrators: St. Anthony, St. Kevin, and our very own St. Agnes.
New Parochial Vicars: St. Kevin, Church of the Visitation, and Mater Dolorosa.
May these transitions throughout our Archdiocese bring renewal and hope to all.
With gratitude and every blessing,
Fr. Alej Báez, S.J.
